Christmas Parol Craft - Color, Cut and Make a Filipino Star

Invite Kindergarten–Grade 2 learners to compare a framed Filipino Christmas lantern with a flat paper model, then color a star and attach two tails. Children count the five points and explain the joins while learning that the parol’s star recalls the Star of Bethlehem in the Christmas story. Families celebrate in different ways, and this art activity does not require religious participation.
